Dallas was a good show, but I'd say goodbye to the wife for trying to compare the two. LOL

Some cool pics from the set of Episode VII.

Earlier this month in a galaxy far far away, known as Abu Dhabi, J.J. Abrams began filming "Star Wars: Episode VII" ... and TMZ has obtained pics from the ultra-secretive set -- including one GIANT creature.

        Cool.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

To see these actual props, fills me with hope that they will use CG only when absolutely needed.
The more stuff they have on set, the more it feels real to me.

Here are recent pictures of Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher. They both look pretty good.

Neat. I had heard they were rebuilding the Falcon. Cool to see some pics.

Yep, it's great to see actual sets and props and not just empty rooms painted blue that will be covered with CGI cartoon sets later.

They both look good. Hamill is looking VERY Luke-like there.

                        Good stuff. Great photos.

Hamill does look the veteran Jedi, and he doesn't look much older, like he just walked off the Seaquest set during his guest appearance.

Too bad these movies weren't shown in between each prequel.

(like late 2000, mid 2003 and mid 2006, that would've been cool)

Take this with an absolutely massive truck-load of salt (based on its dubious source), but it's been rumoured that Abrams has cast Carrie Fisher's daughter Billie Lourd to play a younger Princess Leia in flashback sequences in Episode VII.

Although her daughter is a relative unknown, director J.J. Abrams is said to have chosen her to play a young version of her mother's character because of their visual similarities.

I haven't been this excited for a Star Wars movie since before Empire came out. Loads of possibilities and a talented and capable cast and crew.

If only they could somehow fabricate an excuse to have a flashback of her in the slave bikini.
