    Star Wars 7 cast official

Sounds good. All the original cast plus Max von Sydow.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

    Good news.
What still amazes me is that this movie will be out in 18 months!!!

Its only DC that takes years and years to make movies... We might see trailers for Star Wars Ep 8 before any JLA stuff.

Max Von Sydow? That's icing on the cake. I wonder if he'll be a Ming-like character, since Lucas gave us Christopher Lee as "Count" Dooku.

Looks like Adam Driver did alright NOT getting cast as Nightwing, as rumored. Now he's in Star Wars. Good trade-up.

No Billy Dee. And a bit disappointed the Jesse Plemons rumors didn't end up panning out. But still... new Star Wars! Hope springs eternal.

So what if this is a Blue Harvest type of deal, where we think we're getting a movie with the cast of the original trilogy but really we're getting a retooled movie instead?

I like the cast, but there's a lot of oldsters listed and that might make for a lot of screen time of them sitting on a couch time with grandpa telling the kids about the time he blew the Death Star up.

I really can't see Disney doing that.

Max Von Sydow is great news. I was thinking he is a veteran Rebel or maybe a Jedi Force ghost, unless he's taking over for Alec G.

Andy Serkis will be useful and cool.

That one actress kinda looks like Padme, so maybe Han and Leia's daughter?

I wonder if Chewy will be living on the same planet as Han, or are they still having space adventures.

Episode VII will be incredible either way.

That would not surprise me and that's actually the first thing that came to my mind when I read the casting.

Isn't it strange (and a little sad) not to see George Lucas in such an historic photo?

I've read other people say the same thing- and if it were true (which I seriously doubt), I think it would be ludicrous.

It is weird not to see the notorious GL in that photo.
