I've always been confused at how they keep popping up. Christmas episode added to my confusion. I'm starting to think the Daleks are the Who version of cockroaches.

After watching Day a grand total of 5 times so far i'm left scratching my at a comment said....

One of the Doctors made a comment if the Daleks found out what the Doctors were planning they would send for reinforcements.

This clearly means there are plenty of Daleks left out there when Galifry disappears --- so the timeline should be messed up considering there should be Daleks everywhere during the 9th 10th and 11th Doctors reigns ?

you know this was a bit right? McCoy is far too professional to bow out on a commitment

For me personally, the Tom Baker ending is what makes me watch it.

If it wasn't for the Baker cameo it would just be another epic season finale like we get every year.

Baker made it super special in a 5 Doctors way

You might be a nut but it's not because you've watched DoD 3 time, that seem perfectly normal to me.

Have to give them credit for being able to sneak in everything they did. In this day and age,not an easy thing to do.

I missed several of the Easter Eggs. It'll be fun to rewatch the episode now!

There are a few missed I'm sure.

    For instance:

We hear Clara quoting Marcus Aurelius but the words "a good man" were heard in a previos story title When a Good Man Goes to War and this story gives us our best look at the Doctor in the Time War yet.

Wasn't the Time/Space telegraph originally how the Brig. contacted the Doctor in Terror of The Zygons?

Clara snaps her fingers and the Tardis closes its doors. A reference to Silence in the Library where River tells the Doctor that he would snap his fingers and the doors would open. He does so at the story's end.

The moment adds a "big red button" to it's interface. A reference to the Doctor's observation of the Sycoracx's device in the first X-Mas special? "When I see a big red button I'm not supposed to push I just want to push it!?"

    Also some missed opportunities:

Capt. Jack could've been present in this story. They had his time vortex manipulator. They could've had Jack there. As part of an on-running gag imagine Jack being confronted with a Zygon impersonating him. Then get to the part where he wouldn't know which was really him. Jack & the Zygon would probably go off for a bit alone together.

Freezing Gallifrey in a another universe was great. They could've just moved it like all the planets the Daleks stole in The Stolen Earth. That was an already established method of moving a whole planet.

Where was Dalek Caan in the fall of Arcadia? He kept saying to Davros "No More" in Journey's End. There's nothing saying he didn't see the writing on the wall and realized the meaning later but an appearance would've been nice.

We may have an answer as to how Davros was rescued despite the Time Lock. It could have something to do with this painting and how it was made.

    >The 35 Greatest Easter Eggs From The “Doctor Who” 50th Anniversary

Neat! But they missed one though! They missed the line from Kate Lethbridge-Stewart, when she asked for the secret file and said it was from the 70's or 80's depending on which system you used.... That's a refrence to the old series UNIT stories, and the irreconcilability of when they take place. So.... in "Pyramids of Mars" Sarah Jane refrences her home time as 1980, but "Mawdryn Undead" has the Brig retire in 1977.... even though he was active during Sarah Jane's time.

Hee heee.... I knew something the internets didn't! Should I be proud, or scared?
