Agreed. I'm making a Mid-Year's Resolution to stop griping. As I said earlier, our 10 year old selves would coldcock us for griping about all the great nerd things we have to choose from.

Yep. If we all wore Colin Baker's coat, even that would be boring, right?
There are things I dislike about the New Who (like ep 1 of this season, to name one thing), but I loved the Ice Warrior and Ghost Story ones.
I liked most of the Tennant stories, but disliked the early ones of Matt Smith (and his performance at that time). By now, I really like Matt Smith, and want him to stay.
What unites us all, is that we all love Who. Not all of it, but enough to find common ground.

The Brig came back in a wonderful Sarah Jane Adventures episode. Check it out if you haven't seen it.

Jo Grant came back in another Sarah Jane adventure where we learn what ALL the other modern human companions the doctor has ever had are doing now. Again check it out of you haven't seen it.

Big Finish is doing a special audio adventure with all the previous doctors for the 50th.

And we get the TV special with at least Tennant and Smith.


I really think there's something for everyone here. Baker has done loads of audio adventures at this point. I think there's enough new stuff there to please any fan of the 4th.

I actually don't mind if we don't get everyone back. What I'd like to see is the return of The Valeyard.(long shot there). If you're not going to have The Master as the bad guy,this would work for me.

I haven't been actively seeking out rumors, but do you think they could be doing something along the lines of the Star Trek DS9 "Trials and Tribulations" where the current characters are CGI'd in with the old footage? Could that explain why not too many people were asked to be in it? (or is that too much wishful thinking on my part).

it can be done - look at the 10 doctors Babelcolor did on youtube - but the differences in the camera between then and now could be an issue
