    >'Yoda, are there anymore like you?'

Isn't there a female one on the council in the new movies?

        Yeah, it was Yaddle.
That's about as close as Lucas has come to even revealing anything about Yoda's race.

There was a SW Galaxy trading card which was originally withdrawn because GL didn't want anything revealed or speculated on concerning Yoda's species.

          I'm happy about Star Wars/Disney.

          Yoda movie could be cool.

I'd like to see the Jedi Order when at their best, before the decline.
Way before, 700 years ago sounds about right.

          That said-
Prequels showed their bad qualities, I want to see their good ones.

Yoda's single combat failure burned me up.

The wonderful stuff he said in Empire does not jive, now that the history was revealed.

I wanted ,(and imagined), that Yoda's defeat was caused by overwhelming Imperial Star Destroyers and weapons, that Jedi's wielding The Force just could not win out against them at the time. Not without billions of innocent lives being killed by and on both sides.

Dark Side stronger yes, but Light is still supposed to win out, or at least have a draw. (how can there be a Balance of The Force anyway, if The Dark Side is always more powerful?)

              'Cos they're also always outnumbered.

                Ah!

It makes want to see a movie about the very first Sith Lord and their apprentice.
