Love it--I personally consider it "Season 4."

The fan stuff is pretty good once you get around the voice work.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

They were pretty cool, one I liked the atmosphere.

It was good when I ran out of original series.

I still find myself watching something else, but some I'll watch them again.

Good news is they are on Netflix.

Over all, they were interesting when I had a sci-fi shortage.

I love the animated series !
I also consider it to be as real as the original series.
The actors weren't the only carry over though, many of the writers from TOS also wrote TAS. Gene Roddenberry also had a hand in TAS.
Lastly, elements of TAS are considered "canon" by Trek fans everywhere. The best example would be Captain Kirks middle name. The name Tiberius was first heard in the Animated series episode "BEM" written by David Gerrold, of Tribbles fame.

Those fan films are awesome ! The fact that they were able to get Lou Scheimer to voice a character is fantastic.

            Keepin' it Mego-ey !

I loved StarTrek animated, I used to see the complete DVD set at Wal-Mart for 20 bucks but never picked it up.
