Well, I've watched a couple of episodes now.
Is it too late to ask for my money back?

    What can I say?
Who thought that the perfect soundtrack for a dinosaur chase is...banjo music?
They must also have spent at least half an hour on the SPFX. Oh, man, some of it is sooo bad.

As Mike said: it's a kids show with a lot of nostalgic good vibe for those who grew up with it.

Ah, well, they can't all be great...

      I'm not surprised.

Back in the day I loved a few Kroft shows

Today, watching them is like torture

Didn't say anything until now, in the slim hope, you just might enjoying it. I own/enjoy it for nostalgia reasons.
Waited a long time to add this series to my DVD collection. VHS collecting taught me 'buyer's remorse'. Now I do everything I can to see a movie/TV series episode before I purchase it.

Did you mean buyers remorse as you don't like the shows anymore ? ..... or do you wish you didn't buy them on VHS ?

In rare cases, yes. In more cases, I''m refering to stuff I've never seen.

VHS was the format at the time. A much larger format that took over my living enviorment. Now in DVD, I ask myself; 'How bad do I really want it? and How often will I watch it?'

How did I not reply to this? I love this show! (Season 3 not so much) And I have mentioned this before, but whenever I watch my classic TV, I throw cynicsm out the window. I become 9 years old again and enjoy. When I taught after school, my kids loved it. It got to the point they'd always ask on video day, "Didja bring Land Of The Lost?" And there are some good messages in it as well. I hope you enjoy it.

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic

LOTL is about the only Kroft show I can still watch. I just got the boxed set for my son and I was surprised how I was able to not only sit through the episodes but enoy the majority of them as well. Very cool Sci-Fi show and the Sleek-Stack episodes are by far the best ones. I think it helps if you watched this show as a kid. On the other hand, I loved the cartoon M.A.S.K. as a child but I find trying to get through an episode of that show now almost impossible.
