The Opening Boobie Shots while she was undressing...., seemed to be worth The 5 Bucks alone to BK !

... Something Tells me, that if you engadge in some serious Chief'in and Tripp'in ...., one might think This Movie might be the Answer to Everything.

I love old B-Movies and I have managed to sit through a lot of crap over the years. But I've never been able to fully make to the end of this movie. It's not so bad it's good. It just sucks. A boring and unpleasant movie. No idea how it became a cult classic. MST 3000 would be hard pressed to make it watchable.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

For me, it's one of those films that I wish was better than it is. I was always curious about checking out the French comic.

Ah yes, that's a fun film. I've only seen a few Antonio Margheriti films, but this is a cool one.

Is it just me or does Jane Fonda on the left side of that poster look like Miley Cyrus now?
I remember watching this awhile ago, hard to recall much, but thinking Jane was hot!

The only thing missing in this movie was Capt Kirk.

Yeah.... I'm kinda surprised folks dislike it so much. Kinda. It's really shallow, and slow. In a lot of ways it's like the 80's Flash Gordon film: they worked really hard to capture the LOOK of the source material, and did an awesome job opf it, but seemingly at the exclusion of everything else.

^ The 60s art deco and effects are the only reason I like it. It could be much better both in story and substance.

Yeah, it's really too much to ask for a Roger Vadim film to have strong story and substance, but I do really like the look of the film.
