Star wars the phantom menace 3d

Anybody going to see this....there doesn't seem much interest , not surprising as the story is complete and utter rubbish.

Apparently the trailer for this is out and it is quite something....apparently.

i thought PM was the best of the prequels. I plan on seeing it. It's always cooler on the big screen

I am anxious to see it in 3D. I actually hate how they make 2D movies in 3D, but still. It's Star Wars. I don't care what episode it is. To see it on the big screen again is worth the $12.00 every time.

To take my Son again. You can't put a value on that.

I agree, to take your kids to see these movies is priceless!

But for me personally, I could care less about the prequels (2D or 3D)

I didn't even buy the new blu ray star wars set because I didn't want to see the changed lines in the movie.

I did not buy the Bluray set because IO am not giving Lucas more of my money. i have the DVD release. that is good enough for me. if he had cleaned up and put the deleted scenes back into the original trilogy i would have bought it, otherwise it is just another re-release....with more of his tinkering

Is is too late to ask for a remake on the first three films. I always thought the formula should mirror the first three films...Make the 1st movie a rescue film and save the Queen (like Episode 4) with an early 20's Anakin instead of a 10 year old, second film the heroes go they're separate ways and the bad guys win (like Episode 5) half way through this film Anakin begins his path down the Dark Side, third film we get to see Vader kick *** from beginning to end and set everything up for Episode 4. Also am I the only one out there that finds 3-D to be a huge gimmick? I'm a huge fan of putting old films back in theaters for nostalgia's sake but 3d seems silly. Ghostbusters back in October and Back To The Future in May were both in 2d and were awesome. I haven't seen these three films since they first came out and I was in my early 20's and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. This time around I'll be seeing this with my 5 year old (in 2d if the option is offered) who has never seen Episodes 1-3 so it''ll be interesting to see how he reacts to the childish aspects of the film.

I too would love to see some older films rereleased in theaters. When I was a kid, they rereleased the five Hitchcocks that had been held in his personal collection and they were great. For me, 3D has just been a gimick to sell tickets at higher prices. But that said, I would love to see Dial M for Murder rereleased in its original 3D.

I went to see Tintin with niece, nephew and young cousins. Ages 5-8.

You can't imagine the joy on their faces at seeing the Phantom Menace trailer in 3-D.

Given that they were too young to see this on the big screen the first time around, I can't really adequately describe how infectious their enthusiasm is to see it on the big screen in 3-D.

Would I go see it again just for myself? Probably not. Let's put it this way... I'd much rather take them to see Phantom Menace than another !@#$% Chipmunks movie.
