So the 3D is "subtle"? Whats the point then? Doesn't sound like much more than just a simple rerelease. Oh well... The circus is back in town.
With George Lucas as the Ringmaster, once again, lining his pockets and refilling his coffers from the wallets and pockets of SW fanboys who don't know how to just say "no."
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I am anxious to see it in 3D. I actually hate how they make 2D movies in 3D, but still. It's Star Wars. I don't care what episode it is. To see it on the big screen again is worth the $12.00 every time.
To take my Son again. You can't put a value on that.
precisly. this is exactly what I am doing. My 6yo is SO excited!
Saw the very 1st showings in NYC with my son when it 1st came out.
Standing in line waiting for the movie to start was just as fun as sitting in the dark in the theater waiting to see the crawl and hearing the soundtrack fill the room...but...my son was younger back then, he's a teenager now and has dissected this movie over the years and has absolutely no desire to see this all over again.
...and for that, I am eternally greatful.
Now, if this was the Animated Clone Wars, you couldn't stop him from running into that theater.
Sorry George, you f'd with your fan base too much.
Everyone is Entitled to MY Opinion...Your's, not so much!
Saw PM with my Mom on Memorial weekend. I treated her to the movies just as she treated me as a child when we both saw the Original Star Wars..........
I almost fell asleep.....hated it so much......
Not a chance in hell I'd pay to see that mess again.......
Just got back from seeing the film with my 5 year old son. I haven't seen this movie since it originally came out and he's never seen it. For the record I was one of those idiots that slept in front of the theater a month before it came out, saw it twice on opening day and once the following day. For the $25 admission we got free Star Wars toys (Fighter Pods) and special Darth Maul 3-d glasses to keep at the box office. 30 minutes into the movie he leans over to me and says "Daddy, this is a bad movie." I thought for sure he would love Jar-Jar being that he likes really silly and slapstick kinds of humor, but afterwards he told me the "rabbit" was stupid. He also thought Queen Amadala's ridiculous make-up was freaky and kept insisting she was a bad guy. I had a theory that having a new generation of kids seeing this movie was going to turn it into some sort of a cult classic years from now but I could tell that the little kids in the theater (which was packed with fanboys and children) were confused as hell during the film. When we got to the car to go home he asked me if tomorrow we could watch the "real Star Wars." For me the movie was actually worse than I remembered it and this 3-d junk is like putting lipstick on a pig.
"Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you."
^^^ Wow! When a five year old says your product sucks, THAT is a statement. I believe the public has spoken for this installment. I don't think it gets any better for Clones either.
