    Thanks,

Looking forward to it. Didn't know the trailer had come out. All this hype with the Dark Knight and lost sight of it. Thanks!

I really thought it'd be a phoney, but it looks pretty sick. I'm really looking forward to it.

Hey, it's the Jim character from the British Office! Did Peter jackson just produce, or did he direct it too?

Wow! It looks pretty great. Definitely one to see on the big screen.

this was the first "adult book" I read in the 6th grade. I've longed for a full-length feature film worthy of Tolkein's work. I cannot wait.

Jackson produced and directed, I believe. Ever since I heard they were going to make this, the first and only person I could really see in the role of Bilbo was Martin Freeman. His character from The Office, Tim Canterbury, really did have that sort of mix of comedy and pathos required in Bilbo. He's going to be great.

Not into Hobbits...I hate them all...lol.

Having said that...the cinematography does look gorgeous...so because of that...I might go see it at the movie theater....it will be a big hit for sure.

Did anyone catch the glimpse of Gimli. I wonder if we will see Legolas and Aragorn as well.

looks like it will fit in with the look of the LOTR movies, not that I expected any less from Jackson. Too bad Del Toro dropped out of this, would have loved to see his take on Middle Earth. He planned to use Mike Mignola for design work and also use Ron Perlman somewhere in the film.

Wow did that look amazing! As a lifelong Tolkien fan I can not wait. Its like Jackson is somehow able to pull the images right out of my mind on so many things which is odd given how he deviates sometimes severely from the actual stories that were written. That being said I still loved the trilogy and I am excited to see the Hobbit as well.

Frodo, Legolas, Saruman, Galadriel--they're all returning, despite not being in the book. I'm also kind of excited about Radagast and Azog being in it...they're pulling stuff out of the appendices to fill in back-story. Should be mind-blowing for Tolkien geeks.
