On my set up, it looks pretty good. There is excessive grain in some shots (the sun in the Harry Canyon prolouge, the opening shots of Den) but again, the grain of 1980's film has made people balk at the Ghostbusters blu ray (when it is actually a terrific transfer).
There is some problems for me though on the sound remix. Some sound effects are mixed down compared to before ( like the transcom message service sentry). Also, I there are musical stabs in the B 17 sequence ( where the co pilot is grabbed by the belly gunner zombie and when the pilot opens the door on the zombies) that have been missing since the Legit VHS release (I am willing to bet your bootleg has them).
