I heard it was going to be on Saturday evening, but I've only watched the 'Astronaut' premiere, and haven't seen the rest of what I taped.

When was it on..? Which episode was it on before (or after..)...??
I was really sorry to hear about her...she will be missed greatly.

I met Liz several years ago at a con. She was a wonderful lady, just beautiful & amazing.

How did the her show end?

The Doctor Who franchize will not be the same.

I rather enjoyed it. I admit it was kind of hard to follow at some points though.

I think that Moffat is an excellent writer, but in the previous RTD era, somebody else guided those stories. Now that Moffat is "Grand Moff", I feel he lacks that control, reverts to some if his trademark ideas (as said above "scary astronaut, little girl"), and sometimes strays quite far from the original Who concept.

I think every great writer needs a good editor, and that would IMO improve the scripts.

I knew we would end up with more questions than answers.

I hate the fact they're creating more questions instead of resolving some older ones.

They literally are turning Doctor Who into an afternoon soap opera

BTW, not sure if it's just me being thick but this past story was hard to understand.

I feel like I missed a whole bunch of things.

Wish they would just write simple stories like they used to and have a clear cut ending.

Not an overly promising start to the new season, but both episodes had their moments.

At least that little girl's species was apparently determined at the end. Although it certainly raises a whole lot of new questions.

I think Moffat needs an editor who can tell him NO. This is not really a slam i felt the same way about RTD and George Lucas. When the producer writes the script no one has the power to reign it in and clean it up
In classic who there was a reason that most episodes weren't written by the current producer/scriptwriter (not that it never happened but it was less common than today). By having a separate editor and writer working on a script there was a chance to see the flaws. and when the script editir wrote the script under an assumed name you can tell becuse they tend to lose their way a bit

This story felt like a bad a la cart menu of the Moffet greatest hits from seasons 1-5

and now we will get a season or 2 of refernces to the new "time lady" since the little girl was regenerating only to reveal in the end it's.... Probably River Song herself
