There was a few times it was referenced in the series Steve has a reinforced back --- which makes SOME of his feats a little more believable.

Biggest problem with a lot of his stunts is leverage.

Example, he shouldn't be able to lift a car totally off the ground unless he was standing under it.

Also, he shouldn't be able to rip a steal door off it's hinges unless he had his legs wedged agains the door jam.

Man, I loved the episodes where Steve went up against the Death Probe. Second only to his epic battles with Bionic Bigfoot!

They really slicked it up nice for the second story

Its hard to flip a vehicle that is moving and fighting back .

When was Steve`s arm damaged ?

Before or during the fight to flip the DP over ?

Just watched the second story again

Does anyone know for sure what was under it all ?

Was it an ATV ?

His arm and legs are bionic but the rest of his body is muscle and bone. Really, there are things he's portrayed as doing on that show where his limbs should shear off or his body should snap in 1/2.

I always thought so too
