    Quantum Leap The Movie

I just got next weeks TV Guide and it says Scott Bakula was at Comic Con on a panel. He stated that "We're working on a script for the film".

I always enjoyed QL. This could be good.

    Hmmm,

Wonder if it will be a continuation or a retelling from the beginning of the series ?

Kind of hope it's a retelling

Also, I hope Dean Stockwell returns

Oh man I hope they do a movie with hold on the original stars what a concept...LOL

If they change the stars I would love to see Backula replace stockwell and Sam Rockwell replace Bakula...
That could be cool but other wise leave it with Dean and Scott!!!

TV Guide said he was on a Quantum Leap panel but did not mention who was with him. There might be more on the internet but I haven't looked to see. I'd like to see Dean as well.

Maybe this will lead to a Retro-figure line! Then we'll have customs of Archer from Enterprise and Cavil from Battlestar Galactica!

I wouldnt mind seeing a reunion movie on tv or something. As I recall, in the last episode Sam met this guy who was presumably God. He told Sam he himself controlled his leaps (or could control them?) and wanted him to continue righting wrongs. Sams first controlled leap was to do Al a great favour by leaping back to a time where he could tell his wife that AL was still alive and in a POW camp, before she could marry someone else. At the end of the episode a photo showing Als wife slowly morphed into a current picture of AL and his wife and kids.

I guess what I'm saying is Sam now works alone..or for God. Not sure how they could tie all this back in with AL? Unless they do as Mike said and do a "retelling".??

                    Damn, I hated this show.

But it's interesting to think it originally sprang from Bellisario retooling the Galactica 1980 time travel concept, which the network rejected.

if they do a movie I hope it starts with the first 5 minutes saying the final episode was a "dream" sam had while stuck mid leap. Surely a typical terrible ending to a decent show

Even Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell were in it, I'd go see it for sure!

Really? I don't recall the god thing.

From what i remember, Al told him it was his last leap and after putting things right he would be home but Sam went to see Al's first wife ( who he knew Al still loved and was why all his following marriages failed ) and told her Al was alive and to wait for him.
Because of doing this, instead of getting back home he's stuck in time and continues to leap.
