ALF!

I WAS a fan of Alf. Have season one on DVD. Then I found out about Willy's private exploits...I cannot watch that show anymore without being disgusted by that monster.

He was convicted of DUI, while not good I don't think "monster" is applicable. I'm in no way condoning his actions, but he wasn't slaughtering puppies or molesting children. Unless I've missed a story somewhere "monster" seems a bit strong. I love ALF by the way.

****EDIT***NOTE**** Did find what Botzwana was referring to. Not easily though and only in foreign listings. Surprised I hadn't heard more about it. Was kind of nasty, though I've seen worse, I better understand the tone taken. Definitly worse than DUI. Still love ALF though. Don't hate the puppet hate the actor.

ALF was awesome. I still have a newspaper/magazine ad from the announcement of the series debut and I have a whole slew of those comics.
They still play ALF on WGN some nights (I think on the weekend).

I had heard that they tried to launch a talk show with ALF a while back, did anyone see it?

Yeah, it was on a few years ago. He was like a Johnny Carson talk show host.

Man I loved ALF.Used to watch it every Monday night on NBC Specially the first season.I know its out on DVD just need to rent it or somethignI dont think I woulfd purchase it

I was in Jr high when nit originally aired, loved it. have not seen it in many years though and probably would not be able to sit through it anymore....aren't most shows we remember fondly from childhood painful to watch as adults?
