Planet of the Apes TV show question ...

The reason I like it so much is two fold. I like the episodes where they are in the devastated cities for the cool sets and, I know I am in the minority here, but I really liked the 2nd POTA movie and my favorite scene is when Brent and Nova hide out from the apes in the old subway and he finds the subway sign that tells him he is on earth in the future. The subway scene in the TV episode is similar and was probably written with the movie scene in mind.

The rifle above the head is a classic western film shot (usually cavalry men or even natvie warriors) wave the weapon to signal the extended troop
