Star Trek on DVD Today !

I think I'll wait for it to come on cable, and then only maybe. Based on those previews online when it came out, I'm still not feeling the Star Trek vibe. In my opinion, it could be any action space movie. It doesn't feel like Trek.

Well...I can happily tell you that you couldn't be more wrong! The Writers are long time Trek Fans, and they did their homework...and put their Hearts into it! The actors totally nail the essence of the characters. This movie will please old Fans(like Me)...and create new ones! Do yourself a favor....don't wait for Cable!!!!

Just got the digital copy from my bro in law who bought the Blu Ray 3 disc set this afternoon. Now if I can convert the wmv file to one supported by my tv interface I can see it in HD whenever I want.

I don't think the digital copy version would be in HD, just the version of the film on the Blu-ray disc itself is. Every digital copy that came with Blu-ray discs I've bought have always been standard def.

I liked it a lot. Was fortunate to get a pirate copy a few days after the release before the authorities found it so I've gotten to see it a few additional times. The one movie this year that I should have seen on the big screen and I missed it..... DVD is on the way and I am really looking forward to seeing it! I have herd nothing but good things about this movie!
