Singer has said that the movie made $400m dollars. Ok fair enough but lets look at it. Everyone anticipates a new supes movie , everyone goes and see's it and within a couple of weeks word gets out that this is a bad film. People going to watch the film declines in numbers and its staying power at the cinema decreases. This movie should and could have made a lot more money than $400m but it was utter tripe.
Its the same with a lot of movies. There is a lot of interest to begin and natuarlly the interest in the film decreases with time.....the interest in Supes Return faded a lot quicker than what WB anticipated me thinks and this is why Singer has been given the bullet.
