The most interesting thing about Galactica 1980 to me is them using special effects outtakes from Earthquake! and matte in Cylons attacking for the Cylons attack Earth simulation.

If anyone's interested in watching before buying.., just go to HULU.COM and watch for free (sit through all the car commercials..).

I did watch 'The Night the Cylons Landed' 2parter and it holds up pretty well. I remember finding Robert Reed's secretary quite *yummy* in the season premiere (I'm sure he'd never notice..)..

Yes, the Starbuck episode nearly makes up for the entire miserable year. The scene with Boomer and Adama was an excellent touch as well.

Just use the other disks as drink coasters.
