Hopefully, as long as they're going to redo the beginning, I hope they get rid of the DW "taxi logo".

That is one thing about the new series that I never liked from the start.

        >I wanna girl Doctor.

THECNICALLY there's already been two. Three if you count "The Curse of Fatal Death." I've been hoping for a while that they'd bring Jenny back. She's the Doctor, with low impule control. (Well; LOWER impule control I guess....)

it looks fun, i'd even like making him the first doctor younger as long as they don't go smallville stupid and mess the canon up.

I don't mind the look. Like some others I would have thought they would put him in something that would be considered "hip" with the younger crowd. He does have some clown like boots though (or do you think that is his real foot size?)
            It's all good!

Actually given the motif of his clothes the shoes are a nice touch. this type of low boots were common footwear till the mid 70's (if you watch Spearhead from space a similiar pair are the shoes the tardis key is in Pertwee is clutching in the hospital)

I am very pleased to see this look and yes I do see a little bucakroo banzai and Bill nye in it

Love the hartnell touch to the tardis. Still don't like how young he is unless he plans this to be a long term job but i like the look it says I am an old soul which fits the character in any incarnation

He would be better suited for "All Creatures great and small, The next (re)generation".

He looks like a boring (young) fart.

I was really hoping for an older Doc (no such luck), and a flamboyant outfit (no such luck).
Hook him up with his teenage companion, and we'll soon be needing a sonic diaper changer...

I'm surprised at how much these images actually make me optomistic about the new series. I love the retro Tardis, the fact that the Doctor is dressing like an old man (although I miss hats) and the new producer being an obvious fan.

Hopefully with RTD out of the way we will get proper Doctor Who adventures, without all the angst and kissing.

I like the new outfit, very Troughtonesque.
The new Tardis prop looks bigger, like the one in the Cushing movies. I wonder why they aren't using the Eccleston/Tennant prop.

I'm also wondering what the control room is going to look like.
I can't imagine them going for a retro look on the outside and not continuing the theme on the inside.
It would be neat to see the return of the white/green sterile control room with huge circles on the walls.

As far as the size of the TARDIS prop, I don't think it's changed.
As a matter of fact, i'll bet it's just the Tennant prop repainted.
If you notice Smith's height compared to the girl, they are almost the same height. --- he must be very short.
