And to think they're throwing them away here.
A month or two ago, they were selling them for $12 per season box....

If you could figure out a way of converting them to NTSC you could make a pretty penny

How come an American series is available in Europe, but not in the US is beyond me.

And judging from (poor) sales here, I'm the only European fan left....

I bought a region free DVD player for my Vegas friend last year, so he could play Bionic Woman...

$12 a pop? That's tempting, I'm sensitive to audio with PAL speedup, but at that price, I might overlook that.

I've almost given up seeing a North American release due to the tangle of rights issues, so I might try picking up the R2 releases if I can get them for that price.

I bought a PAL region coded dvd from Britain a few years ago very cheap. It plays on my computer. It will play on yours too, you just re-set it. I think only the first two seasons are out in the UK. Of course, there are a million bootlegs.
That said, I've been wailing and gnashing my teeth for years over this.

The reason is because Universal lost the rights to the novel in which Six Million Dollar Man was based on "Cyborg". The rights to the novel are currently with Dimension who has tried a couple times to do their own bionic film and it fell through.

Universal will have to re-negotiate the rights to the novel for the USA DVD releases of both Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman as both have characters from the novel.

When Universal did their Bionic Woman reboot, they stuck with their own creation, Jamie Sommers and avoided infringing on the novel.
