    Worth.. Every.. Penny..!

I'm still hunting down the CD copies of 'Genesis of the Daleks' and another one he did, but they're quite rare. It's fun playing it on long drives, even after repeated hearings.

I think that might be awesome.
I've always seen that as a way they could do a special with all Ten Doctors. Just find three actors that sound remotely like Hartnell,Troughton and Pertwee and they should be good to go.

No, no, I said first that I HAVE the Pescaton CD.. I got it on eBay and it's TOTALLY worth the price. I have the original CD, but BBC did re-issue it with Liz doing an added interview about the original sessions.

As for 'the other', I still can't recall which story, but they did have another one other than 'Daleks'; I believe it was 'Pyramids of Mars'.

I certainly wouldn't mind another multiple Doctors episode. They could have Tom trapped like they did Harnell in the 3 Doctors or some other device where he could be in it but not put a strain on him.

Captain Mike Yates was a Captain in UNIT ... the United Nations Intelligence Taskforce.

He played on Dr Who from around 1971-1974/75 during the Jon Pertwee years.

This is the problem with the BBC releaseing so many later who episodes and not releaseing the end of the pertwee years (most of the best Yates stories aren't on dvd yet)

Mike Yates (actor Richard Franklin) was the UNIT second in command for most of the pertwee years. I think his first story is Claws of Axos (his role is minor in that one) and his last is Planet of the spiders. his best stories are Day of the Daleks, Time monster and The Demons. He also has a major role in the Green Death which is on dvd

(he's one of the "ghosts" in the tower of Rassilon that Sarah and Jon Perwtee's Doctor meet too)

interestingly he actualy was a capt in the royal army before he played Yates hence his is much cleaner in his military actions than Nicholas Courtney's brig

Ah, FOUND IT..: Here's the wiki entry for the Pyramids of Mars CD I was referring to..:

                  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyramid...rs_(Doctor_Who)

"An unabridged reading of the novelisation by actor Tom Baker was released on CD in August 2008 by BBC Audiobooks."

That's the one I'd like to pick up. Glad I kept looking..
