Yeah, the later ads made it look like it was a movie with Adult Swim like humor: take a childish property and make it vulgar. Now, I enjoy that to a degree, but most aren't going to pay $7 or more to see it, esp. when most people don't remember the original.

I heard Farrell is planning on a sequel to Anchorman, with all the original cast back. That sounds more like his sort of thing.

      .

Yeah, that's a great point Chris, a vulgar Land of the Lost knock off would likely be my favourite adult swim show ever but who would pay to see that movie?

I would send him my admission money now.

I don't get cartoon network in Canada, so I am unaware of this series.

The Brady Bunch movie is a good comparison as T1K mentioned.

There is some racy humor in it such as Peter mentioning "Something Suddenly Came Up" but goes right over the heads of most kids but the adults and older teenagers get it.

Not quite filming yet, they are still casting. Liam Neeson is in talks to play Hannibal Smith. Common to play BA, and Woody Harrelson for Murdoch. Not sure about Face, but those other three would work.
