C'mon, let's give the new Doctor a chance, like we did when Peter Davison took over from Tom Baker. When Colin Baker took over from Peter. When Sylvester McCoy took over from Colin! Then, after the hiatus, when Paul McGann took over from Sylvester! Then a few more years pass, and we start off with Christopher Eccleston! Then David Tennant took over, and now we have Matt Smith, and a rather fetching companion too (ah, how I do love redheads!)! And what did we do for each and every regeneration? We complained, shook our fists, etc., only to be pleasantly surprised each episode. Then when the BBC announces a new Doctor is cast, the cycle starts again.

I can't wait to see the last of Tennant's episodes, and the start of Matt Smith's. Should be a hell of a good time. Now you kids get off my lawn!

She reminds me of the actress that plays Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter movies.

I agree; but I'm still leary of the new guy. Personally I'm REALLY sick of seeing pretty people in EVERYTHING! Maybe that's why I liked Eccleston and his soccer hooligan looks: it was different. I like different.

She is a cutie and i liked Matt Smith in the Sally lockhart movies, so i will give them a good chance to impress me. just don't go the Smallville route and annoy all fans of a great character!
