Cloud City had Billy Dee Williams and lots of other diverse people. And yeah, I was talking about the white Andorians from Enterprise. The expansion of some of the alien races on Enterprise was pretty well handled.

You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie Banks -
On a more serious bent, I know Yoda's species has been one of those
ongoing "questions" in the SW universe.
Obviously, his "old" attributes really helped contribute to his
image as a prototypical "old, wizened master" as he was introed in ESB.
I'm thinking that if they showed Yoda as a younger creature,
he'd be basically the same creature but less old---not too human
in stature, I mean.
Interestingly, in a past SW project rumor about possible TV show projects
---Yoda's early adventures were brought up.
Sounds like another cool idea if you ask me...another example of
how many powerful icons the SWU holds.Last edited by huedell; May 30, '09, 5:50 AM."No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Is Mongo from Flash Gordon?
Are there more than one type of Lion Man, Bird Man etc? Or for example, do all the Lion Men look the same?
Are all the humans the same on Mongo? Are they all WASPs? All White? I have no idea. If it is Flash Gordon send me a link to a site with the races of Mongo if you know one.
Thanks.
Prince Barin and his people were originally all white folk, but that changed over the years. The last newspaper strip run in the nineties showed them pretty diverse.
Lion men....Dont recall ever seeing them portrayed as anything but Lion Men. Might have been Puma men or Jaguar Men, but nothing springs to mind?

Flash is another great character from bygone days that goes relatively unappreciated these days. I learned a lot about the character I never knew doing research for a Flash toy line that I worked on with M&C about 6 or 7 years ago."Crayons taste like purple!"Comment

PM me if you prefer, even if you want to tell me you don't want to tell me.
Thanks.
P.S. It occurs to me that Flash needs better or wider treatment. I know he has a show on SciFi but I'm guessing it is cheesey. I will record a couple and try to watch them.-

Thundercats, Ho!
But still, over all of Trek my best example of my question is that Spock, Sarek and Stonn were "white-ish" but Tuvok was black. That is the example I'm thinking of regarding variation within a race.
But Tim Russ's comment that all Vulcans should be Black is what got me started thinking that most aliens are homogenous. Like Spock, Sarek and Ston for example. All "European" anyway if that makes sense.-

10,000 posts!?!
Megotu, you have over 10,000 posts?!? Is that the record? I'm not sure I've seen a count that high. Not that I'm paying close attention, but since I broke 300 I have been noticing what some of the post counts are on some of the posters.
Wow. Nice to meet you.
