okay I just watched this was a little worried after all the thumbs down I started with the trailer Loved it!!.then the actual film it was watchable the story was a little flat the acting was okay from William Hurt and the others except Gary Oldman ge stole whatever film was their he was awesome!.I didnt care for that cgi space monkey.Le-blanc was bit out of his element so when delivers some lines to Heather Graham you are expecting him to say how you doin!!!burning the disc would been a bit much! and like someone else said it here its a B-movie with 100 million dollar budget.The Film Flash Gordon 1980 comes to mind and I love that one

WWW at least had Salma Hayek to redeme it. Waterworld had Jeanne. LIS did have heather Graham and whoever played the mom(Sorry) but the only character i cared about was Penny and that's because they ruined her. even though i do like Lacey who played her. As was brought out the original was about a family doing this together who stuck together, not this typical modern dyfunctional family garbage. and what they did to the ship and robot speak for themselves and in 1 line say the chariot and space pod are trashed was like admitting they weren't going to make a sequel. matt's only good part in the movie, 1 line.......".and they monkey throws the switch"
