Is that the one where Data lost his head in old San Francisco?

      Nope,
It's the one where the Borg snatched Picard and made HIM a Borg.
The finale was Riker giving the order to FIRE ... which would blow up the Borg ship along with Picard.

City on the Edge of Forever.... mainly because of the psychotic McCoy's question to the old wino: "You... what planet is this!" I think Bones was on meth that time.

It's funny 'cause while I always stick with Mirror, Mirror, the rest of the top
episodes has shifted over the years for me.
I hated Conscience of the King when I was a kid. Now I think it's one of favorites
            from the first series.
I am mainly a second season guy, but I think the first is overrated and the third
            is underrated.
Some of that third season stuff is very entertaining.
Who knows, one day I might very well say, 'Lights of Zetar'.

Oh, and "You, what planet is this?!" is great.
All the dialogue from that scene is so well done.
I know Ellison is a jerk, but the man can write.

There have been many great episodes in treks forty plus years but THE CITY ON THE EDGE OF FOREVER will always stand out from the others
