    Favorite Star Trek Episode

Okay so what is the Star Trek Episode that you love the most , or you thnk of the most . It can be from any of the series TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager, or Enterprise.

For me I can't say I actually have one I like the best. I have one that sticks out that always bering back childhood memories and that's from TNG , Encounter at farpoint, I remember when I first saw them advertsing the show on the back of my Honey Nut Cheerios and there was a contest to do a one time walk on role. A thought about this.

I remember being like oh wow Star Trek The Next Generation ? That just seems sooooo cool . WOW look at that Ship ! and there's a Kid on the Bridge ...WOW ! The whole excitement after watching the original series , The Movies , and of Course playing with my 8" Mego's and 3.75" TMP Mego's made me soooo excited for this show.

I Still remember that feeling like there was nothing better ever that could compare. Now years later that episode is really bad..... but still brings back wonderful memories .

That's my ramble for today . LOL.

Now Please exit hollodeck in an orderly fashion and welcome back to reality.

I really enjoy "Where No Man Has Gone Before" (when the crew and captain all wore gold shirts, and there was no McCoy) and "Charlie X". Both of these episodes deal with a human being receiving nearly infinite power -- in the first, an adult friend of Kirk's, and in the second, an adolescent boy.

The upshot: Absolute power does indeed corrupt absolutely. Fascinating stuff.

            TOS - Mirror, Mirror.
There are a lot of great ones, but I think this one has it all.

My favorite episode is a next generation one. It's where Capt. picard lives a lifetime in a ten minute period after a probe hits him with a ray. When he gets the flute at the end it was touching. I guess I'm too sensitive for questions like this.

I was reading about that episode on the TNG entry on wiki---
It's rated one of the top ten TNG of all of them by EW---
                  so you're far from alone.

The flute, btw, went for some huge amount at some auction too.

Too many choices...but I'm gonna just pick one:

Amok Time! When Spock realizes He's killed Kirk...it was a powerful moment.

And then at the end...when He sees Kirk alive...He loses His Vulcan composure, and shows real Human emotion...GREAT acting!

Hmm, I think the original pilot, "The Cage" is my favorite TOS episode, even though the cast was pretty different. For Next Generation, "The Inner Light" and "The Big Goodbye" are my favorites. The Tribbles episode on DS9 was extremely cool too.

That one's called "The Inner Light" and listed as one of my faves. I love that ep. The end is so sad.

                              Wow, that's tough....

                              I'd say Journey to Babel.

But I really like Devil in the Dark, too.
