I'm looking forward to seeing the movie. The Enterprise series with Scott Bakula was a big dissapointment. I'm glad they are going back to the original characters.

Hey,
For me, a huge draw is Simon Pegg as Scotty. From the one aspect of the trailer that had him in it, I think he will be used for some comic relief, and that is fine by me. Scotty, IMO, was always the wondertech who did add humor to many situations, and Pegg was a great choice.
Got to agree with most on Kirk - the previews don't give me a great feeling that this Kirk will remain true to the original character, but I am definitely going to see the movie when it comes out.

What Brian said, with the addition of hoping it doesn't come out like Star Trek V or Nemesis.

Yeah, he does totally look like a younger spock. I am pretty unsure about kirk as others have said. I will hope for the best.
