    Spock LIVES! Not haters please!

    This thread is for People who are open Minded about the NEW Star Trek Movie(no haters please!). I was so happy when I heard they had cast Zackery Quito as Spock...and this Picture really gives Me hope that Paramount might actually pull this off!

    This Screen shot screems CLASSIC Star Trek to Me!

      I am really looking forward to this movie. I think it looks great and for the first time in I can't tell you how many years, I am actually excited about a Star Trek movie again.

          Young Spock looks fine but I don't like what I have seen of Kirk! Will see the movie when it comes out.
          Too many toys. Not enough space!

                              Hey, the hype from this new movie got my 12-y/o son into TOS and TOS movies. Now we're into TNG, and he's a confirmed Trekkie now! This can't be a bad thing!

                              BTW, Quinto as Spock looks sensational!

                                  Spock looks great, very convincing.
                                  So does McCoy.
                                  I'm 50/50 on Kirk.
                                  Chekov looks nothing like it, though.

                                  Wish they'd kept the Enterprise (inside and out) truly classic, but I can live with it.

                                      Yes, he does look very much like Young Nimoy there. That shot is taken slightly before he beams away in the trailer, right?

                                      I'm kind of with the rest here. Not 100% sold on Kirk, but I am excited by this movie.

                                                  I'm also with you Guys on Chris pine as Kirk...but I won't make a judgement until I see the Movie...and see Him act. It's really alot to do with attitude...Kirk is Cocky!
