Bad as it was, I would rather rewatch the Holiday special than Phantom Menace any day!!

Still, hard to believe Harrison Ford participated in this mess....Hamil I can understand, and Fisher was zoned out and probably thought she was singing at Carnegie Hall, But Harrison....???

.....I have to admit, I wanted Lumpy and Itchy action figures after seeing this as a kid. Found out years later that Kenner had made prototypes of these two, and other characters from the special. Lucas killed the idea, and buried all copies of the film under an old outhouse at Skywalker Ranch!

OMG! I barely remember this. It was on around Thanksgiving time (perhaps on Thanksgiving?) The only thing I remembered was it was the first time I had ever heard of Boba Fett and he was a cartoon in it. That and there was a lot of Chewbacca, like his family members all at a holiday gathering.

I remember watching it at my friend's house on the night it aired (30 years ago today?!? Wow). We were both sooo excited to see it, and ended up with a mixture of confused disappointment and a bit of pleasure (as back in those days, we were starved for any kind of Star Wars content on TV, no matter how lame, it was still better than nothing).

Have any of you listened to the Rifftrax version of SWHS? That might just be hilarious.

I couldn't believe how crappy this was. 30 Years later, I still feel the same way. Aweful.

yeah, even my son won't watch it. the animated segment with Boba Fett is pretty cool though. I don't know though, I can't seem to get enough of Carrie Fisher singing.

I seem to recall tearing the page out of TV Guide that had the Special listing for this. I think I saved it but I have NO clue where or even IF I still have it. If I ever do run across it I will scan & post it.
