I actually liked Starship Troopers. I don't know why it got such a bad rap.

Also love Mad Max trilogy, Star Trek VI, Horror of Dracula, Clint Eastwood's man with no name trilogy, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Warriors, Superman II & Pee Wee's big adventure.
      So there's quite a cross-section.

Empire strikes back: would you believe I've never seen this movie from start to finish in one sitting?
Anecdote: I wanted to see this so bad when it was new in the theaters. I finally talked my dad into taking me and my friend to see it. Guess what? It ended it's run the day before! Never saw it in theater.

Man, what a lazy kid. Empire was in theatres for over a year.

Not going to repeat a lot of the great movies mentioned. Need to add one though - Destination Moon. Robert Heinlein was a genius and while the movie was a bit stiff at time, it was soooo ambitious. The effects were amazing for the time.

DUH! Don't you think I know that?
I was a KID (key word, you used it yourself). I didn't have a job or a car. I had to rely on my parents to take me places, etc. Don't you think I asked to go when it first came out? I LOVED Star Wars. Saw it numerous times in the theater.

I just watched The Crawling Hand on Hulu.com. I like this one too.
