Except for the beginning part with the apes & the theme music. That part was cool. Movie should've ended there.

Tried to like it, just dull as day-old toast.
Maybe I should give it a second shot but I suspect the same results.

Alien used to scare the crap outta me. I own it and watched it again recently and fell asleep. LOL
Empire strikes back: would you believe I've never seen this movie from start to finish in one sitting?
Anecdote: I wanted to see this so bad when it was new in the theaters. I finally talked my dad into taking me and my friend to see it. Guess what? It ended it's run the day before! Never saw it in theater.

The remake of Lost in Space was abysmal! I prefer when they keep the film in it's original, campy, tacky television way. I can't wait to see the remake of Land of the Lost!

Yet it was still better than 2001.

Honestly I'm more of a tv-holic than a movie guy. I love some movies but others put me to sleep.
I could watch the original Dawn of the Dead on a continuous loop and not get sick of it. I also LOVE planet of the apes and Back to the Future. and I could watch Grease till it'd make people throw up.
Also love Mad Max trilogy, Star Trek VI, Horror of Dracula, Clint Eastwood's man with no name trilogy, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Warriors, Superman II & Pee Wee's big adventure.
                          So there's quite a cross-section.

Give the guy a break, he likes Jim Lee. He probably wasn't even born until 1988. ALL those movies are old to him.
