This doesn't bother me, but then I don't remember the original series, only the 90s remake. Anyone remember that? It was pretty cheesy as I recall.

Will Ferrell in small doses makes me laugh a lot. Clips of Anchorman are hysterical. Even just looking at that picture makes me laugh.

But over 90 minutes it usually falls apart. I'm glad they aren't taking it too seriously and are doing men in suits.

I can't stand Will Ferrel! I don't even want to imagine how stupid this flick is going to be. Everything Will Ferrel touches turns to ***. I hate his humor, just plain stupid.

I watched the original series and was a fan of the show so I'll probably see the movie while it's in the theaters. The Sleestak in the image with Ferrell appears to be Enik but his proportions look different from the Sleestaks in the other image.

I didn't like the 90's relaunch series, I wanted too but they took out all the fun aspects.

Will Ferrell is doing a comedy remake of Land of the Lost? Why doesn't he do a version of Battlestar Galactica, or Lost In Space or Speed Racer, or The Incredible HULK, or Thunderbirds, or....

Really, where is the SPartan Spirit film? All he has to do is adapt his SNL character to big screen and he's done.

REALLY????? Awesome! You guys have better selections than we do . PM me a price? I might be able to get my cousin in Philly to pick them up.

Well, I will get a Sleestak even if it is from this movie. I've wanted one since I was like 4 years old. I even started Mego customs years ago but Starbuk did an awesome job doing his before I got very far (I had many things going on and shelved it for a long time). I was going to do pretty much exactly what he did with the pylon and such but his idea with the silicone just blew my idea away. I must get one from him one day. His custom LOTL stuff is just superb.

If anything toy related is released, you can bet yer bottom dollar it will not be based on the original show... It will be all the Will Ferrell crap... Best you'd get from that might be some Sleestaks and they'll probably be the size of Star Wars figures so you couldn't mix them in with your MEGOs...

LOL. I haven't had that dream in MANY years. I like the look, I wish it was like the classic but they do look quite well done.

You probably won't have that problem now.... looking at that costume, they've altered the design to cutsey them up.

Give them time, give them time... Hollywood is always up for bright ideas like that... (Well, SPEED RACER won't fly, after all that one just died on the vine this summer so it will be awhile before anyone touches that again...)

I seen a part of one and it was horrible... At least in the original show, they only had the survival gear they needed, not radios and the like which should NOT work in the LOTL...Where exactly would they be picking up radio signals anyway... And fueling their truck?

Me personally, I never gave a crap about Marshall, Will and Holly or that on a routine expedition they met the greatest earthquake ever known. I just didn’t really care. I was all about the Sleestak. That’s why I watched the show. Seriously, they friggin’ ruled. The new movie does them justice, so I’m good.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
