that's no different then how easily they drive a knife through bone every time they start killing walkers by stabbing them in the head. sorry, bones do not rot or get brittle that fast

Jerry used the axe 5 minutes before that to literally cleave a zombie in half, and not a 2 year old moldy zom, a freshly turned corpse. Axe right through skull, organs, bone....then he forgets how to use it. The tiger ran roughshod through numerous attackers who were shooting at it, emerges unscathed- then takes a knee for a bunch of slow zombies that basically lay down on top of it. For that matter, how do the walkers manage to rip the flesh away so easily? They don't have claws, at best some hadn't trimmed their fingernails for awhile before they died. All would have normal teeth...do you realize how thick that tiger's fur and skin are? My god, I once chipped a tooth on a pizza crust! Pretty sure if I had to it would take me quite awhile to bite through a fur skin and do enough damage to incapacitate a tiger enough to kill it!

And now he never will. Win/win.

Yea, I hated that chained gate scene too

If you have a huge battleax you don't use it to pry things BECAUSE it has a wooden handle !!!

You chop chop chop --- it was most likely handmade by some longdead geek for some past renaissance festival so it's probably nice quality --- but a wooden handle is a wooden handle

This last episode almost did it for me . . . it's not bad writing . . . they are now insulting our intelligence. There were so many huge flaws I can'r even remember them all.

These guys mow down pretty the entire population of the Kingdom from about 300 yds, but he can't seem to hit Rick from 50? Storm trooper much?

Carol has these guys pinned down with only a few bullets left, she has a t least 3 full clips, I get that she has to save the others but put a couple rounds in the truck tires deal with the walkers and then finish off these guys. Before that she had seen 5 guys, then she looks back over and there are only three so she decides to step out in the open, really?

The chained gate, i've seen other episodes where they basically broke through similar obstacles with a simple kick, but Jerry cant break the chain or lock with his behemoth of an axe? ok, yeah, right . . .

Mind you I'm not generally a nitpicky guy on such things but this is terrible. I'm ready for this battle to be done and maybe get to a little substance . . . my wife said she's done . . .

Disagreed. The CGI tiger was better than any of the real actors. I don’t care when any of the humans die. I actually was a little sad when the fake tiger died...

    Yeah, okay...

I thought the same thing, but I'm fine with it as long as I don't have to see that stupid tiger anymore! Is it bad that I cheered?

    Stupid tiger...

Besides everything else I thought it was bad writing not having Rik at least try a pit maneuver when he was riding alongside the Hummer --- maybe it wouldn't have worked cause his Jeep is too small but as a former law enforcement officer he should have at least tried without even thinking about it.

That didn't make any sense to me either. Why did the tiger just lay down and not make any attempt to escape? Just too many contrivances on this show now. Walking Dead was once on my must-watch list... I feel like nowadays it's meandering around as aimless as the zombies.

I think it's that basically, they decide on a season long arc, and then have to stretch it out until the end. We pretty much know that nothing will happen to end Negan until the season finale. So they put all these filler episodes in to mark time. I wish all shows would do away with the arc format and just go back to weekly episodic tv. But I guess in order to lure actors to a series they need to offer more than a weekly guest star role. Maybe 1/2 season arcs would be better, we could then end the war by January and the second half would be rebuild and setup for the next year.
Still doesn't excuse ridiculous plot holes like the ammo or guns (there were none to be found last year, this year everyone has a machine gun...yippee ki yi yay!)

There's a reason why all the modern Trek shows (except Enterprise, which didn't get there) wrapped their series after 7 seasons. The law of diminishing (creative) returns..
