^^ Of Mice and Men was on TCM last night. Chaney Jr. Was great in the role of Lenny. He had more aching chops before he became jaded and drunken than most give him credit. I really like the Intersanctum movies. They were B movies, but had fun plots.

The biggest problem whenever I view his otherwise touching and sympathetic portrayal of Lennie as an adult, is how much Looney Toons and Mel Blanc' imitation of Chaney Jr seeped into my psyche at such an early age. I really can't help bursting into laughter when he says "Which way did he go George, which way did he go?".

My brother had a similar reaction when he watched cinematic masterpieces, The Shining and The Godfather, having grown up with The Simpsons.
