Interesting that he was born on April Fool's Day, since he was such an accomplished trickster, convincing audiences that things seemed different than they really were.

^That make-up still stands up so well today. It's human enough to be disturbing. These overly done, half-eaten zombie masters could learn a trick or two in subtlety.

The classic films of Chaney hold up so well over the years.Unfortunately,alot have been lost over the years,fo example,London After Midnight.the make up in that film would almost rival that of The Phantom and definitely that of the Hunchback.Comment
