They would be the title characters...and picturing zombie CNR makes me giggle. Especially wiggling his glasses & moaning in that voice!

I agree with all except Lee Majors, I'd drop Clint Walker in that spot.

Dale has gotta be Lorne Greene or perhaps Hershel.

I like Lorne Greene as Hershel but I would cast Slim Pickens as Dale. Fittingly too, as Slim always got killed off in everything he was in.

                Great thread!

I'll just point out the "minorities"...lol.

                David Carradine as Glenn?

Very little roles available for Asian actors on American TV during the 70s. The only young one I can think of is Manuel Padilla, Jr. (Filipino), who played Jai in the Tarzan TV show from 66-68.

So I'd have to go with someone older and more known from a 70s show like Pat Morita (Happy Days) instead...

Dianne Carroll is too "soft" for the role of Michonne...now Pam Grier on the other hand...I know she was more into movies...but hey...I want Jackie Brown as Michonne, lol.

I think Bill Cosby is also miscast as T-Dog...I picture John Amos from Good Times in that role more.

Just my humble opinion of course...

I'll go along with Pam Grier & John Amos- good picks!

I thought of Pat Morita, but thought he was a bit old for Glenn, but I really couldn't think of anyone else, not a lot of Asian actors in the 70s...I think their was one guy who played every part of a Japanese soldier in every show that needed him.

I was going to say Bruce Lee, but then the Walkers would't stand a chance, lol.
