Hadn't seen bad reviews and my two pet chimpanzees had been looking forward to this for a month. We saw it Sunday and all 4 of us enjoyed it. They wanted to see Mad Monster Party when we got home, too. Only 1 fart joke too, kind of a low count record for Sandler.

I thought HT was good, but nothing special. Nice to see the montsters on screen and this would be a nice intro to the Uni Monsters for kids. There were some amusing gags and nothing too bad, but it was only OK. I liked Paranorman better even though it devolved into sort of a scooby doo vibe. Hoping Frankenweenie ends up being a classic along the lines of Nightmare Before Christmas.

I thought it was Hilarious! I had low expectations on it and was happily surprised by it and Yes had a very Mad Monster Party Feel to it....my daughter loved it!

What has Tartakovsy done?!??!No offense to people who liked it,but it was just not for me. It was way to long and too many disgusting jokes. I was just confused at what people laughed at. The table scene was the only clever part.

We enjoyed it... it was Kaitlynn's first theater movie and she at 2 and a half enjoyed it from open to close... Having my head in the sand lately I didn't pay any attention to it being an Adam Sandler flick and was actually surprised when the end credits rolled. It was fun.

Saw it today and really enjoyed it. A surprisingly sweet story. It definitely felt like a modern Mad Monster Party, even some of the overall themes were the same.

I didn't want to slit my wrists like I did in Madagascar 3. My God, that movie is just a mess. The circus afro bit they oversold in the commercials is the only funny part of that entire movie.
