I've never seen this, but the plot seems to have been borrowed by a Scooby-Doo episode later in the 70s.

I have really fond memories of seeing this ages ago. I'm glad they finally released it on DVD.
I wasn't scared by it, as usual, but thought the Gargoyles were so freaking cool

I honestly haven't rewatched it since. I'd be curious to see if others thought it held up or not.

I just picked it up on DVD. What a cool flick and the effects are amazing for the time.

Fun movie. Terrific early make up effects by Stan Winston.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
