Svengoolie is running "The Car" right now

I still have an HD copy of The Car recorded months ago from HBO or Cinemax to the DVR that I haven't watched yet. Instead, I am watching The Car for the first time in years in old fashioned SD, interupted for commercials and a goofy horror host (and I wouldn't have it any other way).

True story, I didn't know they were going to play it tonight -- so I watched The Car last Thursday (2 days ago)

Man I wish ME-TV would straighten its crap out and get back on cable in the Bay Area.

is the version he is showing a beat up tv print? Would love to know if they used a tv version of the film that had the extra footage in it? IS anyone recording this?

I am sure that Universal supplied them with the theatrical version since they bleeped some words.

I always thought it was very unusual and wrong for them to kill off the girlfriend.

It just seems like sloppy writing killing off the only likeable character in the movie.
