I was always amazed how many years Wrapped in Plastic magazine lasted beyond the final episode (although I guess they kind of evolved into a X-Files things before Buffy).

I really enjoyed this show. I've watched the whole series once every few years. Probably due for another viewing this year...My Updated Want List:
Comic book original art
1970s Hulk or Spider-man metal garbage can
Custom Mego Nexus, Grendel
Have lots of comics and Marvel Legends figures for trades. Thanks!Comment

There are tons of great things about Twin Peaks - so I hate to bring up the obvious, but the cast was just flat out gorgeous.
"Mad Men" may be the only show to ever come close. Then again "Peaks" had a lot of 60s inspired costumes and style to it, so maybe I'm just a sucker for that kind of look.Comment

One of the greatest shows in the history of television. I still find it amazing that this show ever made to air at all (on network TV!). In today's TV climate I could understand it. But in 1990? Crazy.
Ahead of it's time for sure. Yay David Lynch!Comment

Couldn't beat a weekly dose of David Lynch back in 1990. Hard to believe it was so long ago. Just remember thinking "how did this make it on TV"...Comment

I keep forgetting that they released a boxset with the actual pilot episode finally right?
I remember I had to special order mine from Asia since the original DVD boxset didn't come with it and the only other choice you had was the Twin Peaks movie where they actually do go and physically capture Bob.Comment

I'd love to see a blu-ray version - but technically that might be an insane undertaking. As far as I know the show was shot with film, but transferred and edited for standard video.Comment

My friends and I used to have Twin Peaks viewing parties during the amazing 1st season. I even bought this:
I remember being sort of let down and perplexed by season 2, but there were still some good eps mixed in with the clunkers. I've briefly revisited the show here and there, but not collectively. As mentioned in another thread, season 2 is now at Big Lots for $10.Last edited by Sideshow Spock; Jan 18, '11, 5:38 PM.Comment
