^ Did NOT see that coming either. Great ending to a season that was very slow. Probably the best scene of the whole 2 seasons. I guess Shane knows that Rick has the kahunas now.

What I like is that they are taking different twists and turns than the comics with the SAME shocking results.

Thats pretty cool the way it all ended up.....but yeah it was slow. But at least we don't have to wait til Fall for season 3.

I was looking forward to the Christmas show where Shane gets visited by the ghost of Otis, who tells him he'll be visited by three zombies who will show him the error of his ways.

I don't want to wait till February!! This season is so different than last, that I am not sure where they are going next season. I love the writing on this show!

At the advise of my son I just watched the first 6 episodes on Netflix...need to see season 2 now...I'm hooked.

Holy Flippin Hand Grenades. That caught me totally off guard. My wife and daughter get upset cause I always figure out every episode of The Mentalist and NCIS, but I didn't see that one coming. I haven't been that stunned and frozen to my chair since the powerful Magnum episode "Did You See The Sunrise". Even when I saw it, it took a good 6 or 7 seconds for my brain to register what I was seeing. My first thought was, "Oh isn't that sad. A ___ ___is a zombie" Then my mind caught up with the facts and I couldn't believe it. What a powerful ending. This show is awesome. I know some are upset about how slow the show has been going, but it hasn't bothered me at all. And this ending wouldn't have had half of the impact if they hadn't done that long, slow build up.

I thought the final zombie out of the barn was going to be Herschel's wife, and he would die going to her defense. Wow was I wrong, and how powerful was the reveal?
Watched it again tonight, and it still rocked me.
