I also picked up Planet Terror and Death Proof recently. Planet Terror put me in a Zombie mood so I bought all the Romero "Dead" movies which I hadn't owned on DVD. Had a real Zombie fest for a while.

Managed both the Wolfman and Frankenstein legacy collections used over the weekend, now I just need the creature sets. The stores near me were blowing these away for $15.00.

OK, no I don't have those. One store in another town has Dracula but I didn't even know about the Invisible man set.

I swung by Wal-Mart this morning and noticed a new selection of $4.00 movies. The sole movie of interest was the 1976 version of "King Kong". I resisted picking this up a few years ago at $7.50. I'm glad now I waited

Big Lots seems to be getting some nice MGM displays in lately with various movies for $3.
I picked up Swamp Thing (Adrienne Barbeau) & Konga.

My wife picked me up Sleepy Hollow (the Burton movie) yesterday. I know it totally masacres the original story, but it's just so much damn fun. Good, Hammer-like Halloweeny vibe. I'm a sucker for anything with the Headless Horseman and Ichabod, and when Burton isn't messing up a licensed character, his stuff is fun to watch.

Picked up house by the cemetary and beast from the haunted cave. As far as new horror picked up the village of the damned and Frontiers. Frontiers is a little demented. Something I could see rob zombie directing but more twisted.

I just got "Werewolf Of Washington " DVD. It is ok. Almost identical, though updated, Universal Wolfman story. Even some of the exact same lines.

The movie "the visitors?" is coming out soon. It's with Liv Tyler (if I got the name right) and Owen Wilson's brother and is worth checking out. I saw it at the movies and will buy it.

Ho Tep is great fun. Old Elvis and a black guy that thinks he's JFK fighting mummies in a nursing home. What's not to like? Besides that: Bruce Campbel!!!
