Big Lots has a lot of old stuff out for Halloween. Just picked up the Ray Harryhausen "Mysterious Island" for five bucks.

I picked up the following today:
      "The Shining" ($5.00 at K-Mart)
      "Gattaca" ($3.00 at Big Lots)
"Zombie Strippers" ($3.00 at Big Lots)
Big Lots had a cardboard standee of Halloween movies, but they were mostly films I either already had or had no interest in owning.

Just got The Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) on blu-ray. One of my top 10 fav horror flicks and it looks pretty darn great on blu-ray.

I saw Phantom of Paradise a week ago and had never seen it before. I saw Suck because Alice Cooper and Iggy Pop were in it, but it wasn't too good. I watched about half of Black Devil Doll and still have to finish it. It's bad in a good way. I have Shockwaves, Torso, and Duel on deck.

Got Young Frankenstein cheap at Wallyworld the other day. Haven't seen that movie in ages. I'm saving it to watch on Halloween.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Just got the Legacy Collections of The Mummy, Invisible Man & Creature for about $45 shipped at NBCUniversalstore.com. Not a bad deal for the classics.

I just got 28 Weeks Later. I've never seen it. I saw and own 28 Days Later (it scares me everytime) so I figured I'd pick up the sequel since it was 5 bucks. Now I just need the courage to watch it.
