I meet Chuck Norris way back in the 1980’s, at the Harvard bookstore in Boston. He was signing his autobiography book, and was only supposed to be there for 2 hours, but he stayed until everyone waiting for him outside in the rain got to meet him. I think he was there well past the time allowed, he was super nice and a soft spoken guy. He didn’t just say hi and scribble his name quick on the inside book cover, he actually smiled at you, said hello and thanked you for buying his book.

I got to shake hands with him and maybe had a one minute conversation with him. What’s amazing is he could tell by the way I was standing in front of him, and asked me if I was currently taking martial arts classes? I told him yes and the studio name and he said, I know the place and that he was friends with Billy Blanks who ran the studio.

Chuck Norris is the type of guy you never met, but the way he talks to you, you feel like you’ve been friends with him for years.

My family enjoyed this. I doubt it's going to rate as an all-time classic, but fun, and has more heart than I expected. Essentially an MCU Christmas film, cribbing a LOT of visuals and concepts from those films. But it worked well. The Rock was a little less smug in this one, and Evans continues to be the best thing about most projects he's in, even if the material is kind of beneath his talents. J.K. Simmons is the second coolest Santa, after Kurt Russell of course.

Can't say the same about Dear Santa with Jack Black, however. That one was fine up into the very disturbingly cavalier ending. I'm not sure who that movie was made for.

Kind of a guilty pleasure, it seems EVERY Channel on cable has Walker on right now! HAHAHA

During the 97-99 runs they introduced a pair of characters known as the SONS OF THUNDER, they were a hit and got a SPIN OFF which lasted ONLY 5 episodes in the summer of 99.

Here is the strange thing. Those five episodes got HIGHER RATINGS then Walker at the time.

And the show was cancelled and we never heard from those characters again.

              Hmm...

Norris I can take or leave, I loved him in the OCTAGON, and just cause he PLAYS a honorable ranger on TV, does NOT MEAN he is an honorable man.

              ACTORS Act.

I do remember JONATHAN HARRIS in the early 70's had to HELP Norris with he speech and talking, and he claimed he INSERTED his HAND INTO Chucks mouth to help him with his elocution!
