    >They are remakaing "The Stepfather".

There's been a few lately that I thought were weird choices; mostly considering how little known the originals were. It's like the producers have been doing remakes so long THEY don't remember why they started doing it.

I always loved the original , that one doesn't need a remake for sure

For me the best horror character was always freddy. He was awesome, and the first nightmare was great as far as horror movies go. Two elements were Freddy. Robert Englund and ok one element Robert Englund and his voice. I do like seeing how he became nightmare Freddy but with michael bay involved it is sure to suck. Seriously the idiot forgot the music in his friday the 13th garbage. And Jason runs? Man that stuff ticked me off. As decent as the horror movie elements were michael bay ruined Jason and he will ruin Freddy.

Looking at this when it was announced I really had some concerns about it. After seeing this trailer earlier this week, I am thinking this does look like it's going to be pretty good. I am on the fence with the new "Burnt" Look for Freddy. Probably just going take time getting used too. I see the recycled the Glove coming up in tub scene. LOL ! I am looking forward seeing this. I actually need to get in gear and see the other remakes, Halloween, Friday The 13th , Etc.

Makes me feel REAL old that they feel the need to remake all of this stuff that's still accessible but for a new audience. I mean this stuff has been played to DEATH on TV for the last 20 years.....

Jackie Chan is no Pat Morita....It was Morita's Mr. Miyagi that made the film IMO, not Ralph Macchio.
