I'm on vacation this week and it would be a perfect time for a package from say CTVT to arrive. We didn't go away this year as my wife has been battling a bad case of gall bladder disease. She's been dealing with it for years and we only just found out what all these little problems she's been having have been caused by. She didn't want to have a bad attack out in the woods or something so we bought the kids a huge pool with some of the money and stayed home. Boy I'd love to get some stuff before I have to go back to work.

Anyone else get the jitters or whatever this is while waiting for packages?
      I can relate to her.

I also had severe gall-bladder problems...got hit with horrid pains usually after eating something greasy...then it got infected...I had it removed...and I remember the exact date clearly...8/8/88.

Gall Bladder... Ewww... My sister had an acute attack as a teenager and they removed it. Makes me weak in the knees just thinking about it. Your poor wife!

I know all about anticipation of waiting for stuff. Today I got 3 packages. Woo-- big deal! --Hoo... All three were Barbie® that I ordered for Mrs Joe90 for Christmas. The first was a near mint vintage 1960's nurse uniform, then a couple of vintage reproduction sets. She had Barbie® as a child, but they went MIA. I've been chasing down all the vintage reproductions for her, but the Nurse outfit is the first vintage piece I got her. Oddly, it was less money than some Barbie reproduction outfits for sale.

I do not mind waiting as I am way more than patient. More like too patient in some cases to hear others tell it. However, Receiving something the sooner the better of course is always best. Personally, I think that it is a little ridiculous to have to wait for months to get something unless of course we are talking pre orders in which case that should be understood. Other wise I would agree that this is a hobby alright, but it should not be taken lightly when one operates a business. The customers should not have to feel like they are standing in line and or waiting to get into a fancy upscale dining establishment or V.I.P. club when they are just simply waiting on toys and or parts. Just send them their damn orders in a timely fashion so that the hobby can continue to be a fun hobby and enjoyable experience for all. That is all I am saying.

Too much space. Need more toys!

I Hope your wife gets better. My Mom just had her Gall Bladder Removed a few months ago. I definately know how your feeling about the LONG WAIT. I get so antsy waiting for my Stuff. It's funny since I have very good patience. It always seems like my stuff arrives on a Saturday when I'm at work and I can't get them until monday. That happens alot to me.

I don't mind waiting ....what really annoys me is when you buy from a company and they give you delivery period..say wait up till 21 days for delivery....then keep you waiting after that...I've been waiting for an Airshow dvd for approx 2 months now and the website is still taking pre-orders so i'm not expecting that soon...even though I purchased it on the day of the airshow in advance and they gave me a 4 week delivery date.
