The guy who sold me my first (and only bike) was KING.

He had me run it down the hill -- just coasting (what I thought was forever)

After I was was totally sick of it after all this ........ He had me finally start it.

    The rest is history .......

I was taught the right way from the start ..

    The guy was a genious

Although I love bikes and the biker look, i've never been able to ride one...I have no balance on 2 wheels (proberly due to not having a bicycle as a kid), and fall off after about 20 feet of wild steering.
I would love to get one but am afraid it would be a waste of money...lol

Actually balance is not a issue, once the bike is rolling the laws of physics will keep you upright. The 2 wheels act as gyroscopes and keep ya upright. If you do try riding get a small bike a 125CC or a 250CC. Both are very light and forgiving towards mistakes.

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?

Here's a good one. Scary feeling, but true.

Go ahead, feel free to laugh I know I did after all was said and done!

Many, many years ago, when I did have mine, I had taken it to a softball field. Well, they have this small trench between the parking and the grass. Well, here I'm trying to not fly over it, for fear of bending a rim. Sooooooo, I idle over it enough to where my front tire is just past it. Of course you walk your bike, sitting on the seat, idleing that slow. Well, the ground disappeared and lost all foot contact. I jumped off quick as I could, but it just fell over. A few of the guys ran to help me pick it up.

Moral of this story, and why I need to get a bike reasonable size is, got to be sure you can pick it up if it tips over!!

I passed my test 2 years ago and am trying to save up to get something bigger.

Have'nt had a bike in years used to ride 750 virago and also had a 250 honda on/off.
I would love to grab a honda shadow in the next year or so.I do however get to ride a bombardier 4 wheeler(Quad) or a polaris ranger for work so that is awesome.I also ride my mountain bike to work if that counts...LOL

I rode everyday for 21 years, got my bike licence way before my car licence. I don't trust myself, I like speeding way too much.

Although not exactly a motorcycle, I just bought a 2008 PeaceSports (Honda Remake) Scooter for $1,295.00. This Scooter looks more like a motorcycle than a regular scooter. I never thought I would ever ride a motor bike of any kind, but now I'm learning how to ride one since it goes up to 70 mph, 150 cc, it gets 98-100 miles to the gallon and it only cost me $4.00 to fill it up. But before I can ride it any further than I have so far (21 miles). I have to go through all the formality s***. Insurance, Tags & Taxes, and getting the Bike License. Plus I need to get a bike tarp, and chains for storage at home. Looks like I may not be riding again for a few weeks.
                                Cheers.
